Asset Search: Tree View / Structure in PI Vision - Not consistent with other products.

Not a fan of the Asset Framework tree structure in PI Vision. It needs to work as a tree structure just like PI System Explorer. The setup in Vision is too clunky and is hard to navigate. Again, I would like to see the tree structure consistent in all products to mirror System Explorer.

not having this beats the purpose of being able to add multiple layers to the tree. upvoted

In response to Scott Mitchell, "This idea holds true for almost every OS..." Totally agree. I upvoted...

This idea holds true for almost every OSI product.  Searching for tags in PB should be the same as DL or Builder.  AF should be exposed in a similar fashion in all tools.  In general the people who design the tools that allow us to expose the data we need should all get together and design interfaces that make the system work in a similar way no matter what tool you are using.

One other thing not consistent is the way categories are handled between Vision and ProcessBook. We like that users can drag and drop a category from PI vision bringing over multiple tags. You can't drag categories to a display in ProcessBook. Sorting categories also doesn't work in ProcessBook if there are more then one assigned.
