Being able to use bold fonts is essential for readability in tables.
This is basic functionality that's missing. This functionality was there in PI web parts, bit of a disappointment when migrating from the old product.
Same problem exists for tables :-(
For me it is unacceptable that this option is not available. Especially for kiosk displays which are viewed from a distance.
For me this is basic functionality which is missing. Also we should be able to change the font itself. I have had to manually code some CSS using the extensibility symbols in otder to change to font across our PI Vision site to match our company visuals.
In addition to changing font size for all symbols, changing the size for a selection of multiple symbols at the same time would be very useful!
This would be helpful in the event frame tables. Any improvement to examining event frames in PIVision would be helpful.
I consider it would also be important for the user to have the option to modify the font style to bold, italic and aligned.
The USE Case is for the big screen displays which shows the KPIs.
Great to have this included
This would be a great addition, for big displays the lengend of trends, for example, is... like some costumers say "becoming blind", meaning...it is hard to read if you don't zoom in
Changing the size of the font would greatly increase the utility of tables and make them readible on large displays. Also the ability to change the wording of the label would be handy also being able to have title for the table similar to how we have for a trend
I believe not having the possibility to change the font from the start / first iterations of PI Vision is a clear sign of bad development. Changing fonts (aside from adding way more visualization options) is a MUST HAVE!
In fact, we still prefer ProcessBook in many ways over PI Vision outside of the visual aspects. PI Vision is so extremely limited in many ways and it consumes so much more time setting up simple displays compared to Processbook. But that is a different discussion..
