Align Child Event Frames by Name as opposed to Sequence Number

When aligning event frames in the event comparison, it is requested that the event frames are aligned by the name of the child event frame being aligned to and not the sequence number. For example, if 'reaction' is the 4th child event frame, I would prefer that other event frames are aligned by their 'reaction' child event frame and not necessarily by their 4th child event frame. Sometimes event frames have addition children, breaking the alignment by the intended phase.

    I'd suggest to perform alignment on a property of the event frames (name, sequence number, custom Id...)

    hello, when could we expect this improvement ? what's the trigger for you to integrate it officially in a next PI Vision version ?

    We have the same issue at GSK. The number of Child EF can differ thus the "XY" child EF is sometimes the 4th one and other time 3rd or 5th. Maybe also align to specific time would be good also. for example we wish to see the Phase after 3 hours or after 2 days. Merci

    I would expect that child event frames can be compared by name rather than by time range as in the current design of PI Vision. This would be very useful when exploring batches (operations, phases).
