Change Asset on compared similar event frames display

If I have multiple elements all using the same event frame template I'd like to be able to compare similar events for an asset then switch to a different asset without having to go back to the first display. I.E. my display has multiple assets and I can change asset using the drop down box at the top of the screen which then lists events for that particular asset. From there I can right click and select Compare Similar Events By Type which opens a new display locked to the chosen asset. I can save this Compare Similar Events display but it is locked to that one asset. Would it be possible to add the same Asset drop down box to the compare events display allowing for quick navigation between assets?
