Calculations in should automatically apply to attribute trait

If an AF calculation which involves a single AF attribute, that calculations in PI Vision should automatically be applied to the child trait attributes. For example, I monitor a tag against a Hi and Lo limit and apply a multi-state to distinguish if I am in control or not. I now compute an hourly total in on that tag, I want the hourly total of the Hi and Lo limit to be automatically computed so that I can apply a multi-state on the value of that hourly total.
