show details and annotations

There is a useful function in PI Processbook called show details and annotations. which can show the time-serised data in a window for a tag in trend. Also I can see which two data point is used to calculate the value I point at.

We are very behind in adopting PI Vision and now that it is nearly a must, I'm finding that PI Vision is more of a toy compared to the tool that ProcessBook was. Details and Annotations was one of the functions I used the most as the plant Automation Engineer. Losing those functions makes me very resistant to switching to PI Vision. Please ad this function back!

The max and min values in the PI Vision Summary Table doesn't include the timestamp of those max and min values. The timestamp is critical information when investigating process upsets. Multiple users have requested this functionality.

This is an important feature from Processbook that was not carried over. With the current PI tools, to view the events for a trend one must use datalink, and create their own excel trend, or via system explorer using the show as trend feature. It is an important quality of life improvement to be able to view the event for a PI Vision trend along with the trend itself.

Highly valuable tool from ProcessBook that is used frequently by my client. Improves the overall usability of basic trend views and helps users investigate data without leaving their Vision screen. Having to move into Excel or PSE is a major pain.
