Sum-Difference performance equation/Analytics Function

Develop a new calculation function, performance equation, analytics function, etc for calculating a summation of differences for all of the archive events for a PI tag across a given range. For example, looking for something that can take a given tag's archive data and total up the differences between each archive value entry as shown below:
