PI Vision Calculation Feature: Sum Two Tags into a New Tag

Would like a feature in PI Vision that can take a newly defined tag name (A) using calculation feature and another newly defined tag name (B) and sum them up to a new tag (A+B) in PI Vision Calculation.

Filtering tag with another tag

It would be very useful to be able to filter data with a different tag than the one we want to filter.

Specific debug log levels to troubleshoot specific issues

Similar to PI Interfaces (/DB for opcint), adapters should allow setting some additional debugging to troubleshoot specific issues, instead of only allowing a general LogLevel (Information, Trace, Warning, etc.) This would allow for more granular ...
Gabriel Verreault over 3 years ago in AVEVA™ Adapters / AVEVA Adapter for OPC UA 2 Already exists

Can we please have an Adapter for the good old OPC DA, please ?

We still have OPC DA all over and it will take time for users to move over to UA Architecture unless one uses a wrapper or something to expose DA as UA (not sure if such a wrapper is available but other way is available). It would be great to have...

Ability to disable file renaming for AVEVA Adapter for Structured Data Files or PI UFL products.

The pharma industry has to abide to GMP regulations, in this scenario, the original files should not be modified or renamed. It would be good to have an end to end solution with PI System products instead of making copies of the original file.

Include [optional] unit of measure in the data selection configuration.

Some data sources do not provide a unit of measure. It would be useful to be able to specify the unit of measure as part of the data configuration so that this information is provided to EDS/PI/ADH through the data flow.

Edit legends for XY Charts

This is already a capability for normal trends. It would be useful to be able to put in custom names for trends on XY charts and not be stuck to the default data point name.

Zooming in on plot results in visual change in binary Calculation from always 0 to sometimes 1 . Bug?

I implemented a PI Vision Calculation to implement a binary trend that shows a '1' spike when a value suddenly changes. My goal was to identify at a glance sudden changes for long x vs time plot time durations (those events happen to be very rare)...
