    For compressed data, have the option to return the tagname (for example, similar to how the count is returned at the top).

    Integrate with Excel Undo feature

    If you make a mistake or overwrite information while working with PI Datalink information there is no way to undo it without deleting or recalculating the information completely.

    Allow converting compatible formulas to dynamic arrays on an entire spreadsheet

    Right now, it is tedious to convert an existing spreadsheet to use dynamic arrays since each formula needs to be converted one-by-one. It would be helpful to have a way to convert formulas in bulk.

    Simple logic for animations.

    As is is now, animations can only be associated with one PI point. So, if you need something to animate based on simple AND or OR logic, you have to build the logic first in PI and then tie the animation to it. Why can't we have simple AND, OR, NO...

    Pop up displays.

    Pop up windows would be great to show details such as active and inactive interlocks on a valve or motor. Details that won't properly fit in the normal display but shouldn't take up a whole page as they would now.

    Add backgrounds to displays using any common image file.

    If this were possible, I could use screenshots of my DeltaV (or any other HMI) displays and then overlay PI animations on top of the background. This would allow me to make a "copy" of my DeltaV graphics in PI vision. Users would feel more comfort...

    Page within a page.

    The ability to open a PI Vision page within a PI vision page would cover a lot of needs at one time. The parent page could house a menu of links across the top or side. The Child page would open within a "box" inside the parent page based on links...

    Allow for a timeshift of certain tags, depending on process time delay

    To be able to delay some signals by x amount of hours would allow save tremendous amount of data handling into Excel. Some apps like Visplore offer that right at the display. I'm sure that the PI team can come up with a solution for that.

    Improve Visibility for Automatic Task Pane

    As user of PI DataLink, I would like the Automatic Task Pane to highlight the referenced cells in different colours that the functions (e.g. Sampled Data) are using. It helps to improve visibility and reduce confusion.

    PI Datalink officially supports Excel 2024

    My customer is using PI Datalink with Excel2024 instead of Excel365 because policy prevents the addition or update of each person's Excel functionality. I would like to add Excel2024 to the PI DataLink Compatibility Matrix for these customers.
