Currently, there are 2 windows to configure PI AF security, and it is a pain to switch between them: File → Database → Edit Security, which is used to assign permissions to identities File → Server Properties → Identities tab and Mappings tab, whi...

Have a consistent presence of a terminating \ in the PIHOME and PIHOME64 environment variables

By default, PIHOME is "C:\Program Files (x86)\PIPC" and PIHOME64 is "C:\Program Files\PIPC\". For new installations, please consider either having the terminating \ on both or removing the terminating \ from both. The current inconsistency can con...

Better error handling in DCM UI

For some cases where disallowed or poor configuration causes unexpected behavior, the UI should give a visual indicator and explanation.  Two examples: 1. No write access for Relay to AF DB when using the PSC.  Result: replication of AF ...

OMF Support PI Connector Relay

Keep the OMF support in PI Connector Relay, also add the new OMF Versions to it not just only OMF 1.0. Not just leave the OMF support to the PI WebAPI. In many customer scenarios, the PI Connector relay is an easier solution than PI WebAPI.
