Allow OMF Health Authentication on PI Interfaces to Negotiate

Currently the OMF Health feature of PI interfaces only allows the interface to connect to the PI Web API OMF endpoint using Basic authentication. It would be good to see negotiate and windows authentication as an option like PI Adapters have to co...

Support non-English Performance counter for PI PerfMon Interface

PI Interface for Performance Monitor can collect data from non-English Performance counters in version 1.x, but cannot in version 2.x. It would be good if version 2.x is also able to collect data from non-English Performance counters.

Enhance the PI-ICU to include a rolling buffer regardless of connection to the PI Data Archive

During a Disaster Recovery test our team discovered that there will be up to 24 hours of data loss since our VM's are cloned once a day and the PI-ICU interfaces don't start caching data until the data archive has been disconnected. Essentially - ...

Add TCP option to PI UFL Interface

Currently the only two options are file reading or a serial interface. But what if you have ASCII data streaming from a TCP/telnet source? The configuration would be almost the same as serial - for the connection, rather than a serial port, just n...

Support dynamic indexes from Linux devices for PI Interface for SNMP

When the interface machine needs to be restarted for any reason, the connection to the source (when a Linux device) is lost because Linux uses dynamic indexes and the Interface does not have a way to manage that. Tags need to be reconfigured every...

Enable logging of 5.x batch interface messages to the local PI message log again

Message logs for 5.X Batch interfaces and Connectors are written to Windows Event Viewer instead of PI Message Logs as in previous versions. The Windows Event Log is extremely slow compared to viewing PI message logs, the filtering is worse, the m...

Add a type casting function or operator

The INI files would be shorter and more readable if the PI Connector for UFL had a type casting function or operator. For example, if you are incrementing a Counter variable (type Int32) for each data line, and your tag names are Tag1, Tag2, etc....

Make a version of SkipFile() that stops processing the current file immediately

The current SkipFile() function tells the PI Connector for UFL to skip the remaining lines in the file, but the PI Connector for UFL will continue to execute the rest of the code in the "per message" section that the current line triggered. Pleas...
