    Automatically check for updates

    Please add a feature that automatically checks for updates when PI DataLink starts up. This way, the updates come to the user rather than the user having to check if there is an update.

    Display a parameter tooltip (IntelliSense) when typing functions manually

    Please add a tooltip or equivalent to show the arguments of the PI DataLink functions when you are entering the functions manually, similar to the tooltips that appear when you use native Excel functions.

    remove case sensitivity from alphanumeric ordering

    the PI Integrator is case sensitive in it's alphabetical ordering which doesn't appear to be common with any other PI tools. it can cause weird looking asset views that would otherwise look normal in say asset framework

    Datalink tab opens when click on cell

    When users click on any cell, it opens the tab on the right hand side and causes confusion. Setting it to manual opening will be easier to work with Excel page, have more space, and avoid confusion.
