The “Bad: No PI Data Archive Configured” status is misleading when the PI to CONNECT agent is intentionally set up for Usage Reporting only.

PI to CONNECT agent is intentionally set up for Usage Reporting only. If no PI DA is configured for transfer it can show Bad, even though tag usage reporting is working. If you expand the agent Description, it should indicate that data transfer is disabled and the agent is being used only for usage reporting (we auto-append this note when transfer isn’t enabled).


There is an enhancement request (User Story 5030946 PI to CONNECT V1: Usage Reporting Only should show Good status), which is captured for future improvement.
