Implement High Availability in AVEVA Identity Manager (AIM)

A few limitations make difficult to architect AIM with PI 2023:

  • No support for NLB

  • No support for failover cluster

  • No support for multiple independent AIM instances

As of today, AIM is a single point of failure and so HA is required to prevent global shutdowns.

I was shocked to learn that AVEVA Identity Manager (AIM) is a single point of failure. While it is good to hear that be fixed in the future, shame on AVEVA for not implementing such a critical feature from the first release!

Can AVEVA provide a realistic release date? This idea is 10 months old and we have ZERO information other than "In development".
