I imagine the PI Vision start page to become like a basic Sharepoint web part page, where an admin can add a new section with rich text or even embed a display in a section on the start page.
New section could have an expand and collapse feature so that they still have screen real estate to browse a selection of displays.

We have created a custom symbol that enables you to embed any webpage in PI Vision. We have customers who use this to embed a Sharepoint page into PI Vision to create announcements. If you want to learn more about this just send me a message: julian.weber(at)werusys.de
