Set Permissions for Root folder "Home"

As already implemented for subfolders, we would like to set permissions also on root folder "Home". Use Case: We would like to make sure that only creation of new displays in subfolders is possible and not in home folder.

      Answers to the questions:

      1. We have 1 folder at the root for each sites we have and we want to force people to sort their displays in the right site and not have displays lying at the root.

      2. Just been able to choose wihch security entities may write at the root folder would be good for us. Admins having all the rights by default of course.

      3. The whole company. It is a matter of security and confidentiality. Some displays saved in the root may contain sensitive data that should not be shared to other sites.

      In the recently updated Knowledge Base Article "How to Manage Folder Permissions for the Home Folder in PI Vision" you refer to this feedback page, but this already closed since over a year!

    Edit rights on home folder

    Possibility to change rights for the home folder. Currently, anyone with publisher rights can save and share displays in the home folder, even when they only have write access on the lowest subfolder of a folder. This results in thousand displays ...
