Direct Visualization of AF Tables in PI Vision

Another thought if this was an AF modification to allow a new data-type for an attribute for "Table Array". It has "Table Lookup" which is just one 'cell' of the table, it also has 'Pi Point Array' so it would be some kind of merge between the two. I could also see a functional design option for something like "Table Row" (vs fully array) in which we could just retrieve one row per attribute. The AF designer would then build out the # of attributes as rows required in the Vision screen would display to avoid an accidental over-querying due to poor sql query, at the very least it would just get one set of values for each column and not all rows incase there were thousands+ of rows...

FYI We were able to do this after finding a product by Software Athlete. I'm surprised at the lack of growth within PI Vision over the years, resulting in a need to look for third party components do help us display data in a better way. Given that this is PI Visions main focus, I haven’t been impressed. PI Extensibility Options within PI Vision are how we added this component.

Customer would like an easy way to add a AF Linked Table to a PI Vision display

I add my requirement. This is key. Also would be required to be able to select rows in the table and cause it to change other windows/symbols in the display. Finally, it would be desirable to drill down on selecting rows.

SQL Table from Table look up integrate on vision display. Allthough a set of attributes or PI Tags should be also shown for specific time stamps.

This is possible with a Custom Symbol. https://github.com/alexjj/PI-Vision-Custom-Symbols/tree/master/Community%20Samples/OSIsoft/af-table needs some editing. Nice add-on function.

Must have feature in PI Vision

I am trying to use the PI sym af-table, but when edit PIVisualization.app.js adding 'Chronicle', 'smart-table', PI Vision don't load anymore.
