Enable Role Based Restrictions of Calculation Creation

Administrators need to control who is allowed to create ad hoc (display level) calculations in PI Vision to prevent expensive queries from untrained users.

      Absolutely agree! Total calculation with one PI Point for one hour can be very slow not to mention totals for wider time periods. This idea should have more votes!

    Enable Role Based Restrictions of Calculation Creation

    There is a need to limit use of calculations to prevent resource intensive calculations being deployed. Suggest having security to restrict some users, even if they can author displays, from creating calculations.
