Support of AngularJS 2+ in PI Vision

In our KB article: https://customers.osisoft.com/s/knowledgearticle?knowledgeArticleUrl=PI-Vision-AngularJS-Version-Information AngularJS v1.8.0 is used in the PI Vision 2020 Patch 1 version. However Google has announced they will stop suporting v1.x as of 31st dec 2021. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AngularJS and https://docs.angularjs.org/misc/version-support-status). Are there plans to move to v2+ (or have alternatives)

... This is not created by a Dev.

There is no AngularJS2 stop making fun of your customers.

AngularJS got renamed to Angular AND most important totally overworked it's NOT a BIT compatible. The only thing they have together is that some methods have similar names. Most not.

Infact you are 15 Versions behind since 2016.

That's just a proof that you not continously developed your software and are stuck on a version of 2016.

The only way to produce SOLID, STABLE and PRODUCTS for the future is a continously Update Process, you neither did that in .NET-Framework or Angular.

Let me tell you something, the only thing you can produce a stable software is not letting it run on 5-10 year old frameworks but to update it continously.

Else you end in the same position you are now that all products you have are outdated and need to be redeveloped from scratch.

By the way I am experienced and certified Dotnet-Framework, Dotnet, aspnetcore, AngularJS and Angular dev.

We are past 2021-12-31 now. According to your 1st link, this affects all versions of PI Vision, including PI Vision 2021.

Kenneth, I see the KB article has been updated: "AVEVA has an extended long term support agreement for AngularJS with a software company, XLTS.dev, meaning the AngularJS used in PI Vision will continue to be supported beyond December 31, 2021."
