This is a critical missing feature for downtime tracking.
In addition to being able to have these totals at the bottom of a chart, it would also be useful to have a symbol that provides the total count and total duration for events. Reason would be a filter so that for a specific time range you could see the count and total time attributed to each reason code. This would let you create paretos and pie charts for downtime associated with each reason code. Right now this is a huge missing gap that requires users to use DataLink or manual work arounds.
