Link to other displays within Folder Navigation structure

We have made a display for one department that would be helpful to view in another department. Instead of copying the display to our folder, it would be better to link to the other display to maintain only 1 display to be updated. I would like to see the linked display in the list of displays for our department as well.

    For users coming to PI Vision from Processbook, they may be accustomed to seeing the same PB display / PID file referenced in multiple PB workbooks / PIW files. When converting these workbooks and displays to PI Vision, it is only possible to reference a display at a single point in the folder hierarchy. Since folders are the new intended way to group displays, it would be great to have the option to show a unique vision display in other sections of the hierarchy, similar to an AF element reference.


    It is possible to use navigation links to go to specific displays, but this requires the creation of new displays or editing of existing displays to add navigation links and backlinks.
