Currently, Multi-State formatting is primarily applied to the fill color. Please provide separate options to apply Multi-State formatting to either the Fill or the Border independently. This would make dashboard design more flexible, improve visual clarity, and simplify highlighting equipment status without changing the entire object's fill color.

Currently, Multi-State formatting is mainly available for the fill color of an object. It would be very useful to have separate Multi-State options for Fill, Border, and Border Thickness, allowing users to choose which property should change based on the configured state.

For example, users may want to keep the fill color neutral (such as white or gray) while changing only the border color to indicate equipment status (green = Running, yellow = Warning, red = Alarm). This provides a cleaner dashboard appearance and makes important status changes easier to identify without affecting the overall design.

Adding independent Multi-State options for Fill and Border would:

  • Increase dashboard design flexibility.

  • Improve visual consistency and readability.

  • Reduce the need for custom symbols or workarounds.

  • Enable users to create cleaner, more professional dashboards while clearly highlighting equipment status.
