Stacked trends would be useful and also with the ability to fill / colour the area under each line.

This is something I strongly need as well. I had found 2 work arounds but each one requires some set up and removes the ADHOC experience which is also critical. In PIVision, you can stack the trends so that you have one tag for each trend. What I am looking for though is the ability to change the default trend size when it is dragged onto the display. It needs to have a much thinner height so that it takes up less space, given that only one tag will be on the trend. How can we change the default size???? The other method I used in ProcessBook and it works in PIVision but requires time consuming set up. I use multiple rages, one for each tag. The range size is the same for all but the values are different so that the trends become staggered(stacked). Example.... If I have 4 digital tags I want to display on the same trend, I will make a different a max/min Y scale for each tag such as the first being 10/-10, the second 12/-8, then 14/-6, then 16/-4. You can see that this can be expanded and I have done as many as 20 on a single trend. This is just time consuming and has to be custom for every collection of tags.

When users add more than one tag, they would like to see the trends stacked on top of each other with a common x-axis. This option will help users to view each trend separately with a common x-axis

Stacking trend or way to have multiple cursors on one display.

Is there a way or could there be a way to change the default height and width of a PI Vision trend symbol? This is the default height and width that are used when a tag is dragged onto the display to create a trend. I want the trend height to be significantly less so I can stack several trends as a work around for not having Y stacking available. It appears the best workaround for stacking digital trend tags would be to use multiple trend symbols. It is cumbersome though to have to resize every trend when dragged onto the display.

Yes!!!! We have many digital tags (on/off),(true/false),.... It is imperative to have these so they are staggered on the trend so they can be deciphered. Thank you Right now I believe I can only do this in Processbook and it takes some effort. I use multiple scales and I stagger the trends by having a different scale for each digital variable. Example min/max = 0/-20 and 2/-18 and 4/-16,.... It is a lot of set up. Thank you

Manually adjust trend Y-axis scaling for discrete devices

Merged
The ability to change the y-axis scaling for discrete devices would help spread out multiple discrete devices for easier viewing. For example, if you're trending multiple open/close valves on one trend, they will all overlap. If you could adjust t...
