Can we have the option to select the font used in PI Vision? (Arial, Calibri, Tahoma, etc)?

    This item is in development for the upcoming PI Vision 2024 release. The planned functionality will support setting font name and font size on all PI Vision symbols.

    I am working with a customer that has their own preferred font for visualization and reporting. Having PI Vision use all fonts available to the operating system would be a great addition to the PI Vision tool.

    Using Tahoma for number clarity is seen as an HSE issue by BP, ADNOC and others, and is a requirement for some installations such as ADNOC Panorama etc., because of this. Here is a comparison showing the potential for visual confusion in the font choice for PI Vison. Tahoma should be the default choice for PI Vision to avoid confusion between 8, 3, 9 and 6. TExt is identical to current choice.
