Event Details: Allow scale configuration

We are using EventFrames to catch Alarm states. Therefore we compare measurements to Limits we created in AF. Unfortunately in the PI Coresight EventFrames Display the trend always configures its y-axis automatically. So all the Limits are on the same line and you can not easily see which Limit raised the alarm or how the measurement value changed between the limits during the EventFrame. It would be nice if the y-axis would be scalable manually (single scale, multi-scale, etc).

PI Vision 2021 introduces new capabilities that allow users to configure the value scale on the trend within Event Details. See an overview of new PI Vision 2021 capabilities on our YouTube learning channel: https://youtu.be/LomuqXKEH7w For additional information on PI Vision 2021, please see the release announcement here: https://customers.osisoft.com/s/knowledgearticle?knowledgeArticleUrl=000037703

When using event frame detail view, following features are also needed: - Adjust the time span - Use sliders to determine values - Format trend (especially scale) - Zoom into trend

WHY THE HELL can I not manually set the y axis scale in the event frame view? I get one glitch high value and the scale resizes so I cant see anything useful at all.

Hi, We encounter a problem with the Event Frame due to limitations not to change the Y-axis. This is a hugh problem when batches has a glitch in data and spikes up. Thus, adding in a opportunity to scale the Y-axis, just like regular graphs, would be much appriciated.

Please add Y axis configuration to event frame.

EF Table PI Vision : If I click on any row in PI Vision EF table it shows event frame details but trend scale is set based on "Range Plotted Values" and multiple scales rather than single scale or db settings which makes it difficult to compare process value against threshold.

It would be fantastic if we could arbitrarily change engineering units of displayed values on PI Vision pages.

This setting would be extremely useful. End users are unable to visualize the data in the method they would want to which prevents this program from being a standalone solution for truly visualizing PI Point data. Please try to enable y-axis configuration.

When trying to analyze data for an Event in PI Vision (Event Details window), we don't have the option to change the settings of the trend to show in single scale, the default option is multi scale which is not helpful at all to visually analyze the displayed data.

Using the Event Details page to compare various batches or vibration values while motors are running is very nice. However, the problem is that some have a very high peak during the starting up of the motor. Without being able to zoom in or set the scale of the plots it is then impossible to visually differentiate the values during the rest of the event frame.

I completely agree with Sasha Krivonosova. Our site's primary use for event frames is to see when something goes outside of an operating window. When there are multiple scales shown, it is difficult to decipher when the event happened. It makes the whole pop-up window kind of useless. I've created custom displays to show events, but that is a hassle and they do not have the approval and comment functionality. Please update this. All the other trends within PI are great, I don't understand why this one got abandoned.

Same deal for event comparison displays
