    Restrict the "Root path" field on the "Current Value" menu to only display PI Data Archive servers previously connected to this machine.

    Automatically check for updates

    Please add a feature that automatically checks for updates when PI DataLink starts up. This way, the updates come to the user rather than the user having to check if there is an update.

    Display a parameter tooltip (IntelliSense) when typing functions manually

    Please add a tooltip or equivalent to show the arguments of the PI DataLink functions when you are entering the functions manually, similar to the tooltips that appear when you use native Excel functions.
