Provide DataLink functionality in a Google Sheets add-on

For Solvay, Google is the official environment for work, in this scenario we have difficulties to connect PI System to this environment. This update in Aveva's solution should be put in execution, to be in accordance with the market.

We are a G-suite (Google workspaces) customer. The lack of a Google Sheets add-in for DataLink users has been an unfortunate inconvenience for our organization. We have to separately procure extra Office licenses and installations just for these users. Additionally, all collaboration is in google workspace, which means that each change to a datalink sheet requires users to download the xlsx from the google drive location, make a change to the datalink file, and reupload it to google drive. This is a burden for our users.

Any progress for a "DataLink add-on" in Google sheets?

There hasn't been any progress to date. At this time, we are still waiting on more customer feedback.

One of our customers, Snowy Hydro, were looking for this functionality about 2 years ago.

My company has just transitioned over to google sheets.  Most excel products have been removed.  It would be great to have a google sheet add-on.  Please let me know if there are any dates that this add-on may be available.

In response to John Messinger, "One of our customers, Snowy Hydro, were ..." Snowy Hydro is still looking to have Pi DataLink as a functional add-on for Google Sheets.

In response to Todd Brown, "There hasn't been any progress to date. ..." Having Pi DataLink as an add-on would be very beneficial as we have moved to Google Sheets in place of Microsoft Excel. It would be appreciated if Pi Datalink could me made into an add-on for Sheets. Thank you.
