Assign units to asset-based calculation

When creating an asset-based calculation, allow the user to define a unit of measure from the AF Server. The units can be displayed within symbols and can switch to different units on the symbol configuration.

    Hi Stephen - you are correct that the functionality added in PI Vision 2021 allows units to be set only on asset-based calculations. The units for asset-based calculations are retrieved from the AF Server, and give users the ability to switch the units shown on a symbol level. I have updated this feedback item to include only the use case that was addressed in the 2021 release.

    And you are correct that tag-based calculations currently do not allow units to be set. Since tags are not unit-aware and not associated with an AF Server's UoM database, the same asset-based functionality cannot be assigned to tag-based calculations.     Hi Avena - does anyone from Avena read the comments? There has been no response to my or guests comments and you still have this issue marked complete when it only works in the AF framework. Ngā Mihi,

    Hi Amit, Unfortunately this feature has only been implemented through the AF frame work - my site does not use AF (and sees no point in AF for our application) so I do not get the option to have units which are calculated from Pi tags - count me as one very, very, very disappointed user

    Hey everyone, I am with Kastst. Our user typically use the calculations in Vision based on PI Tags as the user who are able to use AF itselft, implement calculations there. And especially these user do not have the possibility to add units of measurement to the in Vision calculated values. As a workaround they add a label with the unit to the display but this is highly unprofessional. I don't understand why this was done for AF Calculations only.
